New Classes Start.

February 2010 saw four new classes start in South Taranaki.
Karen Cave teaches two classes in the Eltham CTC, and retired teacher Alison Howie teaches two classes at the Manaia Primary School in Manaia.

NEW Trust, NEW Project, NEW direction

Taranaki E-Learning Trust was born out of the old Eltham E-Learning Committee, to take the Taranaki Computers in Homes project into the future.
The trustees of the new trust are:

Karen Cave, Chairperson
Richard Oliver, Treasurer
David Birchler, Vice-President - reporting
Mary McKee, Vice-President - Fundraising
Linda Ogle, Secretary
Chester Borrows, MP, Trustee

We have attained Charities Commission status

We applied for funding from Department of Internal Affairs under the Community Partnership Fund, Third round, in 2008 and we fortunate enough to receive funding to take Computers in Homes to 150 South Taranaki District families.
