The Graduation was held in the Maori Club Hall on Wednesday the 3rd of July.
Deputy Mayor Alex Ballentyne spoke to the graduates about not letting anything stop them if they want to achieve and what a wonderful resource and tool they were receiving.
We had a sit down lunch at the conclusion of the Graduation.

Happy customer...
| July 2013 |
Hi Christina
I have enrolled at Tongariro as an adult student and attended the first Saturday course last week. I have completed my CIH stepping up booklets that Kristina gave me and have completed the completion survey for each booklet as well. Tomorrow I will start my first accounting booklet when I go to the School. We have also been doing essays in word and research through the internet for home work this week. I tell ya, I am feeling on top of the world well technology anyway lol.
Well definitely keep you posted

Update for May 2013
This month, we have started classes in Turangi at Tongariro Area School, Marfell Primary School and Eltham CTC.
20 families from Tongariro Area School are being taught by Kristina Parbhu, who is bravely taking on all 20 families at once, all by herself. The families are loving the classes. Lena says, "I would just like to take the time to mention that I am quite excited to be enrolled on this course. CIH is an awesome opportunity for whanau to acquire computers in their homes for many different reasons weather it be homework for our tamariki to upskilling for our own benefits. Either way, it's a tool to learn with, and I'd just like to say thank you and I appreciate this opprtunity and look forward to completing this course with flying colours!!!"

June will be a busy month with approximately 50 people graduating in 3 different ceremonies.
